Changing of the seasons....

beauty blog blog post changing of the seasons fall beauty haircare skincare skincare rituals

As we wave goodbye to Summer and say hello to Fall, it's a good time to reflect on our current beauty routines, to see if our hair/skincare products need any adjusting.

Being outside in the hot summer sun and using products like sea salt sprays, can leave hair dry and in desperate need of some extra moisture.

If this was the case with you, may I recommend using a hair masque 1-2 times per week to leave your hair moisturized, shiny and healthy.

Broadview Beauty, has 2 great hair masks, both from Verb.

If your looking for a deep conditioner (that is still light in the hair), then I'd recommend Verb's Ghost hair mask. If full hydration is what you're looking for, then Verb's Hydrating mask is your best bet!

Olaplex's No#7 Bonding oil, is a highly concentrated (yet weightless) hair styler, that strengthens hair and protects against heat styling. Apply a small amount to your hair and style as you normally would. Your locks will look soft and shiny for Fall! Nobody wants dry, crispy ends!

For Fall skincare, if you're not already using a facial serum, I would highly recommend doing so!

Recreation Beauty's Vibrant Skin oil, is a luxurious facial serum that leaves skin ultra hydrated and glowy. It's heavenly!

Province Apothecary's Rejuvenating and Hydrating face serum is exactly that!  It applies evenly and works with all skin types! Your skin will thank you!

If you'd like to try an eye oil, Salt by Hendrix's "Eye Babe" is a gentle eye treatment oil, that is super hydrating. It's great for day or night and helps to diminish fine lines.

After using a nice facial cream, like Province Apothecarys Nourishing and Revitalizing moisterizer finish it all of with PA's lip balm! Your dry lips will thank you! I keep mine in my handbag, so I can use it all throughout the day!

Overall, I think the focus of your Fall beauty routine should be on moisture and hydration. The colder weather is coming and we will all need an extra warm hug of hydration. Speaking of warm hugs, have you tried our teas from Living Apothecary? They're delightful!

I hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy! That's really the most important thing. Stay tuned for more exciting news and product launches, (this Fall) here at Broadview Beauty.

xo,

Sarah
